Hey there!

My name's Thomas, or Tom for short. I am a big Disney fan and I love Disney World. While I've only been there once, I do plan on going back within the next year or two and then yearly. The five days I spent there with my mom and brother were well worth it and it was the best time I have ever spent at a theme park. I just wonder if Disneyland is just as good as an experience as Disney World.

Well, if you guys have any questions you want to ask about me, go right a head. I hope to have a fun time on the forums here. Smile

Welcome, Tom!

Unfortunately, I can't answer your Disneyland question yet because I won't be making my inaugural trip there until next year, but I've been reading about DL for quite awhile now. It seems to be very different from WDW, but I'm very excited to enjoy the park that Walt built. Also, there are many classic attractions (some of which used to be in Florida--Snow White's Scary Adventures, ToonTown, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride) that are (still) in Disneyland. I can't wait to see them!! I'm also very excited about seeing World of Color and the original Fantasmic!

welcome to WDWFG Tom! Always happy to have another Disney enthusiast on the forum. There are several here who are regulars to Disneyland so if you have any questions, go right ahead and ask, I'm sure they can give you some great info.

Welcome aboard Tom...Well in 2001 we flew from Scotland to California to visit my DW sister and family..We had three weeks and loved Los Angeles..We done all the things we had planned like weekend in San Deigo and Tijuana and also Vegas..Now when we went to DL it was a great day out, but don't ask me why, it just didn't happen.. sad I'am talking about the pixie dust..Now forward the clock 3 years later..WDW 2004.. eek Wow..It just hit me hit a falling star..I wasn't prepared for the immense size and so much to see..But hey!..That's just my take on it...We will have to return to Los Angeles soon and maybe this time with 6 WDW vacations under my belt, I will appreciate it better..

Disneyland is so much more compact than MK - you'll have no trouble getting around. I love it - not as much as WDW - and still can't wait to go back to see it again. My cousin loves it more than WDW because it is smaller and easier to navigate; for me, it is a part of my childhood memory.

Somewhere I heard a bit of trivia that said you could take all of Disneyland and fit it into WDW Magic Kingdom's parking lot. . .
