mrhub, thanks for that direct Poly line. They asked me to call about about 10 days ahead of my trip. And generally made me feel like the request wouldn't be a problem at all.

The photopass+ thing might be interesting. The part of me that wants to take my camera and gear to Disneyworld is currently having a battle of wills with the part of me that wants to NOT lug around stuff and make myself feel obligated to get more accomplished. Paying someone else to get keepsakes might just make one side win out.

This really is a great forum, ya'll!

Glad to here I could help you Doug! Did you get the Poly directly? ( I was so hoping I gave you the right number) I always call at the 10 day mark for any special requests and just to verify that they have any I have already given them. I'm curious now if the King beds are going to be by booking or request now.

The photopass is great way to get quality prints. Just make sure you use it everywhere you can to get your monies worth. More and more now I am not taking a camera into the parks with me or just carrying my Kodak P & S. It was really nice not having to worry about carrying a bag.

My husband works part time in a photographer's studio (when he's not teaching High School English.) Without a doubt, the most expensive things we own as a family are his collection of cameras and lenses and other assorted parephenelia.

But we get Photopass every single time we go. For starters, that's one way to ensure that my husband is actually in the pictures. Another thing is the trick shots that the photopass photographers can do.

But more than that, it means that he can pick and choose whether to bring his camera along from day to day.

I take a picture of the card on my phone so I have it just incase. Matter of fact, I do that with all my cards, gift cards, passes and all.

That's really good advice, mrhub. Thanks for sharing that!!

I just called back , and requested the King Sized Bed, and the CM on the phone was absolutely great about the request.

Quick phone call.
Mind at ease....

10 DAYS TO GO! And almost as importantly only 6 works days left. *wistful sigh*

I was just going to write a post about the CMs at Disney!! I just called to change my resort for my Oct trip from CBR to POR (based on everything I've read on here - the love for both PO resorts is amazing!) and the CM (I think her name was Diane) was unbelievably friendly and helpful!! It was kind of a pain request, I'm sure, but she was fabulous. I wish customer service everywhere was as helpful as it is at Disney!!

Have fun on your trip!! clapping
