Great blog! Moving to central Florida in July

Hello leeannpal and Welcome!!...so glad to have another teacher on board...I would love to make a move like you're making...maybe upon retirement but that is quite a long ways away...lol.

Welcome to the forum, and a huge congratulations on your new job! My mom was a teacher, and her first job was in Central Florida--she said she loved being able to go to the attractions all the time and getting annual passes!

Tell us a little bit about your love for Disney! Do you like any particular restaurants, rides, etc.? Which of the parks is your favorite? We love finding out more about our shared Disney obsession around these parts!

Horary for teachers. And it's great to have another one in central Florida. Hope you enjoy it here. While someone only enjoy the visit, I also think it is a great place to live, and not just because of the mouse. Of course, he is a solid perk as well.

Hello Leeann Welcome!

Hi I'm new to the group too And not exactly sure where to post But this post seemed the most like my situation, so I thought I would pop in here and say HI!!! I'm retiring from teaching at Christmas after teaching for thirty years and looking at moving to central Florida and working part time at my favorite place in the world- Disney, of course any advice on affordable housing and job searching will be appreciative . I also act, so, all avenues are open. Nothing is holding me in my home state anymore and I'm ready for an adventure

I want to retire at Disney too!!! I met a CM at AKL Concierge desk that did just that, and moved there from a town about 12 miles from my home.

I can feel that magnetic pull. Will work for Disney. One day.
