Hey all! So glad I found this website! I actually just got back from a school trip to Disney - we stayed at Pop Century. I live on Long Island and teach in Queens, NY. Well, when I got home, I convinced my mom we had to go. I have only been to Disney with my parents when I was little and we went a few times! But never being there as an adult, I thought the timing was perfect (plus I was still on my Disney high). So mom and I took advantage of the summer discounts (I know it's going to be so hot) but we are staying at AKL from 7/13-7/16. Now I just am trying to plan it all!
AKL is an awesome resort! And your first adult trip is so drastically different then when you're there as a kid...lots more to appreciate! 
July will be hot and busy so make sure to take some time to relax in the pool or book some indoor dining reservations where you can take a break in the air conditioning with an adult beverage 
AKL, just don't try to do it all and see it all, as Allie said plan in some cooling breaks at poolside.

on the trip planning!! Haven't stayed at AKL but hear it's awesome!! You will have a great time!! Just take it easy during that heat!! Cool off and drink lots of water!
