Ho, ho, ho in the parks, parks, parks..

I was pleased to see this:

and this..

I have to admit..it made a little happy today..put a little pep in my step..and I may or may not have listened to Christmas Carols this afternoon.

I know others here are excited for the holidays..and I am glad to see the parks have reached our level of holiday happiness.

Holy smokes, I am going to think I died and went to Heaven...

EEeeeEEEEE!!!!

We had to drive up to PA this past weekend - 9 hours up and 9 hours back. I sneaked 2 Christmas CDs into the car, alot with a CD of Disney Park tunes. Poor Joe. I almost got left at a gas station in West Virginia.

I tried to get the outside Christmas lights today - vetoed! Scrooge.....

So exciting!!!

Jeff - what do you plan to make a priority on your Christmas trip? Will you try and do all of the special holiday events?

We're getting in the holiday spirit around here, too! Seems it's starting much earlier this year for some reason, but I'm not complaining.

JeffC -- Two nine-hour drives in one weekend? Wow! Sounds like a marathon trip.

Lizzy -- What Christmas carols were you listening to? Do you have any CDs you particularly like?

Hi Lizzy! I want to see as many decorations as possible - resort-hopping is high on the list, and we plan to hit MK and HS. May or may not fit in Epcot this time.

We do have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party so we'll do that, and we want to see the Osborne Spectacle.

Other priorities include DTD, as many Mickey Ice Cream Sandwichs as I can take before brain freeze sets in, and holiday pins for my collection.

OMG I may die from excitement before we even get there!

SpaceAce - yes, it was grueling. 9 hours back to back. At the end of the first 9 hours, Joe turned to me and said "You know, if we had gone in the complete opposite direction, we would be in Disney right now. But we didn't. Oh well. Haha." I was mocked!!

Bella! I am proud of you! If just one kid went home singing Christmas tunes, you made a difference! Expect the parental phone calls to commence in 3....2....1......

I'd love to hear what Bella was listening to besides Winter Wonderland. As for me, I absolutely wear out all of Harry Connick's Christmas CDs beginning Nov 1 every year. Also, Amy Grant's second one is a big fave (the one that features I'll Be Home for Christmas.) Finally, I got my daughter the Chipmunks' Christmas CD last year...which I usually start regretting sometime around December 15! She loves it though...and it's fun.

What are your favorites? You know - I don't own a single Disney Christmas CD. Hmmmm....we should fix that.

Oh...I hope you have a GLORIOUS time! And take extra sweaters if you're eating ice cream around the world! I'd like to get back to the resorts this year to see the different decorations...I haven't done that in a while. Wilderness Lodge was amazing the last time I went with their Gingerbread displays. Of course the Grand has their giant one. I think the Contemporary changes things up from year to year...at least they used to.

What resorts have you seen that are spectacular? Where are you staying or did you say already?
