I use to do medieval-style book illustration & calligraphy, but about 6 years ago the pain in my hand just became too great and I had to give up my art. I've really done very little since then, but I found this calligrapher online that was doing these fun little cartoon-like wedding maps that I just adore. I wondered if I could do one and gave it a shot. It was pretty amusing to me. I had gotten rid of all my art supplies long ago so the initial sketched were on notebook paper with a ball point pen. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to add some color to it.
