Some of you have really interesting user names for this site? I just wondered what made you choose them eg. are they based on favourite chatacters/ experiences? Are there any nice stories behind them?

Well with me it was easy, I am a Corvette lover and owner so my username was a natural.
Mine is mostly self-explanatory. I think. I spent a few years as an EMT, and instructor of a few "EMS" related courses. My fellow squad members, and I were having a competition, trying to see who could come up with the most interesting / unusual email address. Can't honestly say I won. But I use this because I don't have to worry about choosing a name that might be previously used.
I read a book many many years ago about angels. The book is too long to go into, It is called the Messengers, but at the time it made a real impact. It referred to angels444, so I took it as a username over 13 years ago. All of my media and emails are angels444.
Mine is something we use in our family to describe us. We have it for email, license plates etc. M stands for our last name and then we add the Team and the 94 for the year we got married. When the kids were smaller we used to do a huddle when we were going to do something or after we had a good discussion about something with them. We would put our hands in together and then say "Go Mteam!" Cheesy, but it works for us.
I'm named after the dog! Scrappy originally named our pug Hubcap becuase she thought he was a hubcap rolling down the round when he found us, it shortened to MrHub and we now just call him Mister, but Mrhub stuck with me.
Haze-gray and underway is a navy saying. I modified it for one of my rc boat forums before I joined the navy and have been hazegry ever since
I am a Pittsburgh girl through and through so I picked my favorite baseball team the Pirates (even though they aren't the best) and I am a girl.
I'm half Finn, and in my head I'm a girl, but in reality, I'm .
Diana
Time marches on. Eventually you realize it's doing it across your face.
Mine is just a play on my name. My nickname and a reference to when my last name changed when I got married (October 2005). For Disney purposes, it can also point to the first time I went to WDW with my DH.
Mine is made up of my nickname, BoBo and my two lucky numbers, 7 & 13.
BoBo
"Live well, laugh loud & love much"
These are great - keep them coming!

That's a totally different inspiration than I imagined! I thought you were named after "The Hub" in Magic Kingdom!

I thought that too about Mr Hub! And I thought pirate girl was named after pirates of the Caribbean. I was wrong about both!!!

Me too!
Ollie is an family nickname. I am just the most recent member of the tribe to sport it!
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
J. R. R. Tolkien
So obviously I am less than creative with my user name. However, LuvDuffy, my dh who does not post very often, has a story. My entire family has a very strong dislike for Duffy Bear, so he thought LuvDuffy would be a funny name, but only funny for my family I guess!
Julie
Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust
My parent's picked mine out for me before I was born
She got real original on here... lol
Mine...
Last name is Mason. Mase is just short for it.

I love reading all these !And I'm with the rest of you on Pirate Girl - thought she just loved Mr. Depp!
I am an Evil Queen fan from Snow White...and was just trying to express it a bit more creative..
Such the Evil Queen is famous for her "mirror mirror on the wall" line I thought
Magic Mirror was a fun name..
Many of you have shortened it to MM when replying to me and I like
that too because I'm a M&M candy fan
Lol... I'm so boring. Mine is just my name.
Mine is kind of non-creative too. I was married at Walt Disney World (Yacht Club) in 1996. Statistically, the amazing part is that we are still living "Happily Ever After"!

Okay, now I totally want to know the stats on if Disney Brides tend to stay married longer than other Brides. LOL!
Oh, come on, you ALL know why I picked my name.

But just in case. I am a crazy cat person! (And so is hubby.) Back in the late 1990s we started doing feline welfare work (helping out at a shelter, doing trap/neuter/release with ferals, etc.). When you do that kind of stuff, you're probably going to end up keeping a lot of those poor little strays and ferals. This one's too cute, that one has bonded with me, this one is too friendly to end up as a barn cat, etc.
When I first joined this group we had 18 cats. Sadly, most of them are getting old now, and since February of this year we've gone from 18 to 14. Sure, 14 seems like a lot to you, but I really notice the difference. We stopped doing the volunteer work a few years back since our own house is now a cat shelter. And even then we find more cats - found the most recent one two years ago on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC, and brought her home.
It's so funny that the majority think I picked my name for POC and Johnny Depp, which I totally get. Now if it was my friend that will be traveling with me in October, she is absolutely gaa gaa for Capt. Jack Sparrow . Truth be known I actually picked if for both the Pgh Pirates (me) and Jack Sparrow (Kathy).
Mine is just my name - super creative, I know - this way I should be able to remember it! Fun hearing how the rest of you came up with your names!
