How do you do!

Hello, everyone!

I am so glad I found this site. I've been lurking for about a week and I love the topics, the articles and the updates. Great job!

I'm a life long Disney fan, like all of you! I particularly love the history of Disney animation and how the Disney studios have pushed technology and innovation. I've been to WDW 3 times, most recently we visited for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in December 2014. My DH loves that Disney bought Marvel and our DDs are great fans as well. (We all know I'm the one most obsessed with The Mouse, though!) My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, but Epcot is a very very close second.

Disney Dreams include participating in many RunDisney events, especially the Princess weekend, visiting all the Disney parks worldwide, and collecting all of the pressed pennies!

Thank you all for such a warm welcome! Austin is our home base currently, and we've had our fair share of cold, wet, grey days of late! I have to be honest and confess that, yes, I do have our next Disney adventure planned as soon as the budget works out! I have everything planned for 4 days in Disneyland for the 60th anniversary this year. I've never been to Disneyland and I would love to experience the classic rides that are still there. I watched the 10th anniversary special on YouTube and being there for the 60th would just be a dream come true! If this trip doesn't work out, I have some ideas sketched for a WDW trip in 2016. (Moana!)

I would **love** to make it to the Wine n Dine event! And the Tinkerbell, and the Princess, and all of the others! Ha! Family vacations are top priority for now. Maybe when the girls are a bit older and can run with me I won't feel so guilty paying for the airfare. I have a Bling Bar all ready for Disney medals biggrin

I love that this site has been active for so long. The thread of artistic pictures is especially magical! Starting in 2008?! So much fun to go back and see what's changed! Looking forward to sharing more magic with everyone. mickey

My husband graduated from Natrona Heights outside Pittsburgh! We do not have any cats. We like cats. We are not allergic (my youngest daughter is slightly, but not too bad!) and we love other people's cats. However, we have ridiculous arguments about which of us would clean the hypothetical cat box of any hypothetical cats we may hypothetically own, ever. So for the sake of our happy marriage, we do not have any kitties. Smile We do have two dogs now and I grew up with a zoo in our house with dogs, cats, gerbils, more dogs, more cats, some fish. Love the animals, hate the clean up!
