How do you reserve your DVC Room?

I just made some reservations, and for the first time I was able to book my DVC room online! I was a little unsure because I knew that I would have to do some borrowing of points, but the whole process was super easy!

My only complaint is that there was no section to make a note in with a room request. I want a pool view and I'm going to have to call down for them to make that note on the reservation for me. It seems like it would be easy for them to add a little text box for requests, but it's not there right now.

Have you used the DVC online booking yet? What did you think of it?

I have never used the online DVC request, I always prefer to speak to a "real" person so I always call 1-800-800-9800. It's the only phone # I have on speed dial.

I used online booking for the first time last month, to add a night @ SSR to our November trip. I also waitlisted online for BWV studio pool view(had to borrow points, as I had already banked). I also arranged online, to automatically replace the night at SSR with BWV(same number of points for both), if waitlist came thru. Waitlist came thru after three weeks, and I rcvd an email with new reservation number for BWV. I checked my upcoming trips, and SSR reservation had been removed. Contract point balance in order as well.

Going forward, I will likely make all of my reservations online.

We do ours online as well. And if we want to make a request, we just call in and have them add it. Normally I enjoy speaking to a live person, but sometimes its hard to understand them? Don't know how else to say it... lol

you can make special request on line 10 days before your trip when you check in on line they have options for different things on there

But if what you want to request is not there, call and they will add it to your reservation.
