How Much To Pick Your Own Room At WDW?

How much would you pay (per visit let's say), to be able to pick your specific room at a WDW resort?

I would definitely pay in the $100 range to ensure that I had a the room I wanted.

Hmm...I think it would really depend on the resort. Things like number of floors; proximity to the lobby, pool, food, etc.; relative noise outside certain rooms; views; and room rehabs are all considerations.

Are you talking $100 per night, or $100 overall?

I would definitely add $10-$20 per night to be able to pick my own room. In some cases more, depending on the resort.

Totally depends on the hotel. In Wilderness Lodge I don't really care where I am. In AKL--it matters a LOT! wink

I'm assuming that you have to stay in the same class of room. I.E. I can't book a normal view and get a savanna view. But I must say, in the Boardwalk I've had a VERY nice room and a so-so room in the same class. I'd definitely go an extra $10 a night to stay in the better room.

Yeah I'd definitely be happy to pay $10, to get a $200 more expensive room. silly

Moi. Most definitely. (Did I just say "moi?")

I'm a comfort-monkey, and having a great room location means I have an even better vacation. If I'm spending that much mula, I want to enjoy it. laugh
