Just wondering what everyone's breaking point would be to go down one of the big, vertical slides in Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach! mickey

Happy Birthday in 10 days, Vettelover! Any good plans for your b-day?

Yeah, I had to vote $1000! I think I'd do it for that amount...as long as they had a margarita waiting for me at the end.

The main thing they'd have to pay me for is to deal with the crowds!

I've done them before - I'm not afraid of any of it except for the MASSIVE wedgie which is just unpleasant for everyone.

For 50 bucks, though, I'd suffer the wedgie.

The wedgies are, indeed, bad! yuck laugh I haven't done one of those slides yet, but I think $1000 could persuade me!

No amount. You can't wear goggles on them, so I would be too worried about my very expensive contact!

I'd need signed waivers from the people at the park that they're okay with me taking my shirt off. laugh

This is a good point! But I think Jason can hold your contacts for you down at the bottom of the flume! ;-D

Yes, but I can't take out the soft lens that are always in there either (that protect my corneas)...because even if the money would PAY for the possible surgery if anything went wrong...I wouldn't want to go through with it again!

Does anyone know why you can't wear goggles? Although I suppose it might not matter to me since I'd have my eyes closed tight on the way down. laugh

Summit Plummit was a breeze, loved it clapping and no wedgie at the bottom either. Although I do take extra care sitting down ready for launch as to trip at the top would be nasty.

dsoup: I'm guessing that's a safety thing. Maybe the force of the water should you get flipped over would put pressure on goggle? I imagine it has something to do with potentially losing an eye!

Tony: I don't even want to THINK about slipping and falling at the top of that slide!
