Never been. Should I? What are your favorite things to do on the Boardwalk?
Had to go with "fairly frequently" due to the fine eating establishments situated there. One of the primary ones being the Flying Fish, in my estimation it is one of the best restaurants on Disney property and also one of the most overlooked ones.
We go on about half our trips. Even though there isn't much to "do" over there, we like exploring the resorts, taking the boat between Epcot and DHS, grabbing treats at Seashore Sweets, and generally hanging out. I also really like Jellyrolls, the duelling piano bar at the end of the Boardwalk, so if we have time in the evening, I like to head over there!

I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
I'd say unless you like the restaurants you're not missing out on much. There are some great restaurants over there though: Beaches and Cream and the ESPN Club are favorites of mine.
We probably find one reason or another to go on just over half of our trips.
I've often wondered why Disney doesn't treat it as an entertainment district and run a bus there (other than the BW resort bus). It'd make staying at BW even more appealing because you'd be able to get there now from any theme park AND any resort. Right now, I believe guests have to share a bus with Swan and Dolphin, and they stop at Swan and Dolphin first! Of course, if your legs can handle it, you can get off at Swan and Dophin and make the short walk to BW.

Flying Fish is a wonderful restaurant. I agree whole heartedly. They have great seafood, but also some good land lubber options.
They've also just added a chef's counter, which should be fun -- and less expensive than V&As.

Good point about transport. We usually drive so it's not a big deal to us, but I'd be much more reluctant if transport was an issue. I'd still have to hit Beaches and Cream though. I doubt I could resist. We usually just go in the Beach Club and right back out though so I'm not sure if that counts as visiting the Boardwalk.
I voted for fairly frequently. We do not usually do all that much there but we usually park at either the Boardwalk or the Beach Club and walk into Epcot the back way on the days we plan to stay for the fireworks. That seems to be the easiest way back out after they are over.
However, yesterday when I called to see if I could get a passholders discount applied to the room we booked for September, I was told that there was not one available for the room type in the Wilderness Villas. The CM did however tell me that I could use a discount on our room if I was willing to switch to the boardwalk. So, I did. We saved more than the cost of our delux dinning plan by switching. I guess after the this trip we should be able to tell you a lot about the Boardwalk area.

Hey, that's great news! When will you be there? I wonder if our trips overlap (we'll be at the Beach Club)
