I don't want to miss a thing

I'm sharing a boat with our friend the Watchmaker! The SS Planning Fanatic. He asked about over-rated places so they might stay off our to do lists. Now I'm looking for some under-rated places to put on our lists, the places that just don't seem to get the mentions or love they deserve. THNX

Ahoy there Captain Figgy...Is there any such thing now as a hidden gem?...I'm not sure but here are my choices..The Wave at The Contemporary Resort..I believe they get fresh veg from inside Spaceship Earth..Boatwrights at PORS has improved so much since our first dining experience in 2008 which was very bland, then we read so many great reviews, we tried it again in 2012..Wow...Awesome difference.. awesome

Cape May Cafe, Garden Grill, and Whispering Canyon are my current "offbeat" favorites. I love the crab legs, the salad with the cranberries and walnuts, the goat cheese, and the dessert bar at Cape May. Garden Grill offers no real choice in the menu, but I've never had anything I didn't like there. I had a sandwich at Whispering Canyon at lunch (salmon I think) that rivaled any Disney sandwich...scratch that...any sandwich I'd ever eaten.

We have been pleasantly surprised twice by Shutters at CBR. Nicely prepared food and not terribly crowded.

I really like the Turf Club and Grill at Saratoga Springs. The meal was fantastic, our server was great and we could see the Epcot fireworks while eating.

It's one of the biggest kept secrets in Disney..Late at night, when Epcot closes..Food produced in Living with the Land is transported to Spaceship Earth then via a special Monorail it ends up in the kitchen of The Wave at Contemporary Resort.. waiting

Add me to the Turf Club crew! And Captain Cook's at the Polynesian is probably going to be a new must eat for me, which is odd because it might be the only quick service that I'm gaga over.
