I Have a Secret!

OMGs I'm dying here! My husband and I jut agreed to a last minute trip to WDW during Christmas week! yay I know - CRAZY because of how busy it will be but I am still SOOOOO excited! It's a secret because the kids don't know! Heeheheeee! We were just thee in October. They think our next trip isn't until July. laugh

We are DVC members but don't have enough points for this upcoming trip (only 1 days worth) so we booked POR - we are a family of 5 and it seemed like a good value for a moderate resort. We spend one night, our last night, at Kidani Villiage - had to use the remaining points since I forgot to bank them on time waiting Flights are way too expensive this time of year so we're driving down. Leaving on the 26th muchlove

I just had to share! We've never stayed at POR and we've never been to WDW during Christmas week!

The kids keep talking about the June/July trip and they already have a countdown going. 6 months and 19 days I heard today laugh I'm abut to burst!

We did the exact same thing last year!! Decided the week before Christmas and flew down on the 23rd. It was so worth the extra money and even though we had to rearange some family things it was an experience we will never forget. Our kids loved it and we had a blast! Oh, and my profile picture is from last year at Christmas!

One tip that really does come into play at this time of year more than any other is get there at park open!! Seriously, we did this on all days when we wanted to make sure whe got to ride our favorites and we were usually walking on things because we are not breakfast people and tend to eat later. So, most people were still eating breakfast and where about a half hour behind us.
