If you had to choose. . .

I love Jess's "What if..." topics!

So. . .

What if you had to choose one ride from each park that you will never, EVER ride again.

I know we're going to get a lot of "Dinosaur" and "Primeval Whirl" for Animal Kingdom, so try to be creative and think of another ride you'd eliminate. . .if there is one!

I would choose:

MK: Alice in Wonderland Teacups
Epcot: Mission Space
HS: Rockin Rollercoaster
Animal Kingdom: Kali River Rapids - because I dislike rides where I get wet.

Hmm...if I had to choose one for each park (and this doesn't mean that I don't like them, but J.P.'s forcing me to choose!) biggrin Also, I'm counting attractions as well as rides...

MK: Stitch's Great Escape (OK, I'm pretty sure I really don't like that one)
Epcot: Whatever 3D movie is playing at the time
HS: The Indiana Jones Show
Animal Kingdom: The Bird Show

Do those count?

Hmmmmmmmm...

Animal Kingdom: Bugs Life. Did it once, and just dont want to do it again... lol
Epcot: The Seas
Hollywood Studios: Backlot Tour. Went on it this past year... and just feel it needs a HUGE update. Just majorly bored with it now.
Magic Kingdom: Peter Pan

ooh ok I choose:

MK: Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management (in fact, I've already self-imposed this and I've only been on it once)

HS: The "Great" Movie Ride (really? "Great"?? cmon.)

Epcot: Test Track (does NOTHING for me)

AK: well I have a self imposed ban on Dinosaur but since that is eliminated I will say Rafiki's Planet Watch. (what is the point of that?!)

Easier to go after everyone else.

MK: Stitch
DHS: Indiana Jones
Epcot: Probably Test Track too.
AK: Dinosaur

Hmmm....

Magic kingdom: stitch
Epcot: one of the boring country rides
Animal kingdom: rafiki planet watch
Hollywood studios: backlot tour. I agree with hubby. It needs an upgrade

Ok..here I go.

MK:The Speedway.
HS: Drew Carey's Sound Stupidness..is that even still there?
AK: Pocahontas
Epcot: Ellen's

Okay I'm sticking with actual rides:

MK: Alice in Wonderland Tea Cups
Epcot: Ellen
HS: Back lot tour
Animal Kingdom: Kali River Rapids

.

MK: Speedway is good. It's like a cheesy theme park ride that won't go away.
Epcot: I have a weird problem picking one. Can I count some of the Innoventions booths?
HS: Back Lot Tour is a good suggestion
AK: Dinosaur

OH! So many rides and attractions I forgot about!

Mase, Did you pick Peter Pan at MK because of the long lines?

Bella, I had forgotten about the Drew Carey "Sound Stupidness" (LOLOL) Attraction, I've always avoided it.

cdub, You can definitely count innovations booths. Some of those aren't nearly as entertaining as they should be!

I picked it because I honestly dont care for it... and the lines dont help the cause either... rolling

Magic Kingdom: Aladdin's Carpets
Animal Kingdom:Tough to be a bug
Epcot: Ellen's Energy Adventure (zzzzzz)
DHS: Ugh, not a ride, but that stupid Narnia/Prince Caspian thing I waited for that was like a closet with some props in it. Lame.

Love this thread...

MK: Small World
(My family and I refuse to ride this ever again. Why did we torture ourselves anyway?)

EPCOT: Mission: Space
(Not thrilled by this ride and because of the other people and their vomit experiences, I'm paranoid. Yes, I've been on it.)

DHS: Indiana Jones and/or Backlot Tour
(The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is so old, I could perform the show myself. Ditto for the Backlot Tour)

AK: Kilimanjaro Safari
(Sorry, I've been on it multiple times and I am done. I have seen the animals)

My sister, brother-in-law and I kept waiting to be taken to the show or the ride. We had NO idea what it was when we went into it. BORING! What a let down! waiting

That is the longest line at MK - based on the wait alone. When I give advice to people who are planning a trip, I always advise to ride PP when the park first opens or get a FP. It's INSANE how long the line takes for a ride that is constantly in motion. confused

The last I knew, it was closed indefinitely. That 'show' is awful! Who thought that was a good idea?

Never made sense to me either... I could never understand why the line is soooooooooo long for it when in reality its not anymore special than say Pooh Bears ride.

Couldn't agree with you more. I mean, I like the ride and all but I will not wait for 60+ minutes to ride it.

And that queue is awful too..back to back people! We always ride it the very last thing before closing at night..in fact thats a great time to do ALL of Fantasyland.

Also... when the lines start doubling up... like how it goes

<----------|

Its SUPER tight. Almost claustrophobic for me

Hmmm...trying to think only of rides...

MK: This is hard! Everything is either a favorite or a sentimental favorite. But if I had to choose - Dumbo. I can understand the lines for PP better than this (even though at least this one stops and starts, which explains some of the wait.)

Epcot: I think Ellen is a ride, right? It's been so long, I can't remember. Obviously, I don't miss it.

HS: Great Movie Ride. It's been so long that I can't even remember how outdated it is (although RNRC and ToT get honorable mention. Don't plan to set foot on either again. Well... maybe RNRC.)

AK: I haven't really been on a lot of the rides at AK, so I'll stick with the Safari. I thought the fake elephant was kinda silly.

Wait... There is a fake elephant on killimanjaro safaris? I just prited off some pics that I took on that right and though the elephant looked a little funny but I didn't realize he was fake. I'll have to post the pic later and see if that's the one you are talking about.
