The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the Space Mountain upgrades will include an "interactive queue." Anyone know anything more about this, or have any guesses as to what that might entail?

I've seen that it's going to be done by the same folks as the Soarin' queue line, so there might be some sort of interactive quiz or game.
I'm simultaneously sad and happy about this. The space mountain queue was always a favorite of mine (I guess I like the quiet, serene atmosphere in there).

I will be totally bummed if my revised Space Mountain queue experience does not include holograms and new age music.
Interactive could be cool. That would be a great way to pass the time. They should make something like the Kim Possible adventures for every line.
I've heard great things about the new Space Mt. -- Vettelover or MrHub, were either of you able to ride the new version?

Spaceace: Yes I was able to ride Space Mt. and I was not impressed at all, but there also was really no wait time, the line moved real fast and never had time to stop and play with anything in the queue area. The ride to me was no different at all. It was still rough and very jerky. We were in the first car so don't know if that makes a difference or not. I did not have any urge to get right on it again like we did Everest, Tower of Terror & Rock & Roller Coaster.
Thanks for the review mrhub. I've heard that the ride is darker than it used to be, and that there's a new exit scene -- did you get a experience any of that?
Annie, I honestly can't tell you what the exit scene was. I can tell you it was one heck of a walk to get out after the ride, I never remembered it being like that before. Not something I'm interested in doing again to tell you the truth. Maybe a few years down the road.

Or you can just take the VIP route and have them escort you through the back doors!

If I knew it was there, and it was that long of a walk out, I would have!
