JanJ & KenJ's January 2016 trip pics

Hi everyone,

We're just wrapping up an amazing week here at Disney World with MrHub and scrappy. I didn't take nearly as many photos on this trip as I normally do, but I thought I'd share some of the ones that I've processed so far. We had some great WDWFG meet ups with Mr. and Mrs. Vettelover, MandaLynn and MeganLeigh, and Mr. and Mrs. oHIo.

These two photos are dedicated to our friends in America...

This is one of the jumping water spouts in The Land (near Figment)...

Thanks everyone!

As Ken has mentioned, we had another great trip to the World hanging out with MrHub and scrappy. We had a few meet ups with forum members - all lovely people.

New Experiences included:
First character meal - The Garden Grill for breakfast with Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale. Thoroughly enjoyed this and the food was fantastic.
First time eating at Shula's. This is where we met up with Vettelover and his Mrs and where I had the absolute best dessert - Chocolate Molten Lava cake.
First time experiencing The Goodnight Kiss.
Dinner at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs - would definitely eat here again and the Hot & Sour soup was delicious.
Purchased my first Pandora bracelet and a few charms. wink

We had a mixture of weather - it started out cool and sunny, then warmed up and rained a little but we ended the week with warm and sunny. All in all, an excellent trip. Looking forward to the next one, most likely in the fall. mickey

Yes. We checked in for our flight from Orlando to Toronto and we heard other passengers grumbling about having to fly to Mexico. I asked at the check in counter and sure enough it was true.

The airline, Sunwing, had a plane in Cozumel that was stranded with a mechanical problem and they used our plane to transport a mechanic and a part to fix it. So, we flew from Orlando to Cozumel, then Cozumel to Toronto. We were on the ground in Mexico for about an hour but didn't get off the plane.

There were some people that were really upset as they had connecting flights once they got to Toronto. I don't know what they did for them.

We were supposed to land in Toronto at 1:30 pm but it was 5:00 pm when we finally arrived.

We laugh now because we were at the Mexico pavilion one day and then actually in Mexico the next. Since we had never been to Mexico, we can now say were there just for an hour. LOL.
