Anyone know what prices are usually like at the end of January??? I tried to look on the Disney World website but they're not available that far ahead. Our wedding anniversary is on the 26th so I'm looking at the 22nd-29 as a possible time. We are looking at staying at one of the Value resorts too (whichever one is cheaper) and I'm leaning towards Pop Century since I've heard great things about it.

The dates are probably not available online since the 2013 rates have't been released yet. You should be able to call Disney to book a room only for next January. You can book a room only up to 450 days in advance. If I remember correctly, they'll give you the current rate which would be subject to change once the rates for next year are released. At that time you can modify your reservation if you want to add tickets and the dining plan.
Thanks. I actually want to move the trip up earlier to mid-Jan. How are crowds and pricing during that period??
According to my Birnbaum Guide - 2nd week of January through 1st week of February (excluding marathon weekend) falls under least crowded ("means that there will be lines, but most attractions can be visited without much waiting").

Yeah I think if you avoid the Marathon Jan is great on crowds & price. Although I know one time we went and got a good price, but it was relatively crowded. Still I'd say it's hard to find a safer bet of a month.
