From what I've heard Jeff will have to play both young and old in this film, (Young as a program and old in real life) and at his age makeup just won't cut it. This kind of digital touch up work is done all the time. The scan will just help to speed up the process in a feature film. The only reason we hear about it for TR2N is that there is so much attention on this project. In fact almost every Major action film for the last 15 years has used digital body doubles in one form or another.
