JoAnn's 50th Birthday Bash Pretrip Report

I am celebrating my 50th birthday with two of my best friends. One is also turning 50 this year. This is a joint celebration. We are staying in a studio at Grand Floridian Villas.

Day 1
Arrive @ 9:05am
Upon arrival at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I will activate my new annual pass and get a Tables in Wonderland Card.
Fast passes - Beauty and the Beast " live on Stage, Slinky Dog Dash & Star Tours
ADRs - dinner @ Hollywood Brown Derby

Day 2 - my birthday
Fast passes - Living with the Land, Soarin', Spaceship Earth
ADRs - Breakfast @ Garden Grill and dinner @ Yachtsman Steakhouse
Behind the Seeds tour
Jellyrolls

Day 3
Fast passes - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean
ADRs - Storybook Dining at Artist Point
Keys to the Kingdom tour

Day 4
Fast passes - Kilimanjaro Safaris, Flight of Passage and Festival of the Lion King
ADRs - Breakfast @ Tusker House and dinner @ Teppan Edo

Day 5
Z and I move to Caribbean Beach. M flies home.
Fast passes - Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
ADRs - Breakfast @ Kona Cafe and dinner @ Sebastian's Bistro

Day 6
Fast passes - Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Alien Swirling Saucers, Frozen Sing Along
ADRs - Restaurant Marrakesh

Day 7
Fly home Sad
Fast passes - Frozen Ever After and Spaceship Earth

M is arriving a few days before and staying at Pop.

Wow! I'm so jealous of the Grand Flo, all the delicious foods, and tours! Sounds like an amazing birthday! Can't wait to hear what you think of Sebastian's Grill...we have a reservation there in June.

Wish I could extend my stay and help celebrate but we have to head back up north on Sunday. Will miss the next snow storm I think but will experience some single digit temps. Have fun! Your plans sound awesome and amazing!

Z and I be taking off in 12 hours.

M had a bit of a travel set back. She was supposed to fly out on Friday afternoon. Her connecting flight was canceled. Luckily, she was notified before she drove the two hours to the airport. She was rebooked on a direct flight Saturday afternoon. She's been having a great time on her first solo trip.

I was supposed to be off today. A few things came up on Friday that I needed to finish today. The plan was work a half day from home. It turned into a full day. The bright side is I got a vacation day back.

Sitting at the airport waiting for flight home. sad

Kept hoping flight would get canceled to stay longer. I even brought my work laptop incase I got stuck and could work from here. No such luck
