Apparently Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Josh D'Amaro was in Downtown Disney (Disneyland) all day apologizing to cast members. Instead of hiding behind his executive desk he was in the trenches with the cast members let them talk, cry, and vent their grief and frustration with the lay-offs. I like to think Uncle Walt would have been proud of him facing the music that way.
