just a few questions!

Okay so I am in full planning mode for our trip in september i havent done a pre trip report yet because im still gathering info so here goes!

me and mam have been to disney many times before but we are in unknown territory a bit this year as we have my auntie and uncle coming with us this year yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay

we are soooooooooooooooo excited for this but we have never travelled with another party since the first time we came to the magical bubble and we didn't know anything and the planner in me is going crazy!

I'm sure you wonderful people will be able to help me out with my questions (I hope)

1) does anybody know if you can get into WS before it officially opens at 11am? I know nothing will be open but just to have a walk around?

2) we have the QS dining plan for 3 people in the party but my uncle doesn't have it (we added my auntie into our room so she could qualify for free dining but booked a separate room for my uncle and he couldn't get free dining) we want to go to BOG for lunch does anybody know if this situation will cause any problems with pre ordering food? or if this will cause problems anywhere really?

3) as explained above my uncle is in a room on his own and the 3 girls are sharing a room but seen as there will be 2 beds in my uncles room does anybody know if it would be a problem to use the spare bed?

4) does anyone know if its possible for the hotels to give you room access to both rooms or not? we are trying for adjoining rooms but incase we don't get them

any help with any of this would be a HUGE help thank you!!!

Amy, I know Les Halles Bakery in France opens at 9am, but that is as far as you can go, you're not allowed to just walk around WS before it opens, it will be roped off.

Regarding your Uncle not having the dining plan and pre ordering, can't help you there.

No they can not set up your magic bands to have access to two rooms at the same time. Your Uncle could also ask for a card to open his room also, since his Magicband may irritate his wrist.

Now about using the second bed, do you mean for another person (5th person)? If so, legally you should let the hotel know. Now if you're talking about one of you 3 girls using the extra bed in your Uncles room because one of you snores as loud as your Uncle and would disturb the other 2 biggrin , I don't see a problem with that.

Thanks Mr Hub even getting around to France would be a help just so we can get up there ready for opening!

never thought about asking for a card it could be an option ill bear in mind

also to clear up its not a 5th person there is just 4 people so it would be the latter that applies to us! so thanks!

If you want to walk from one room to another without going outside, you need to request "connecting" rooms. Adjoining rooms mean they are next door to each other. (Been there, done that!) The request can be made, but it is never guaranteed.

When Amy's parents came up for the day in January to visit us, we let the front desk know they would be on the property at French Quarters...they offered us a one day room card that would allow them access to our room for the day..not sure if they would offer that card for more than a day ....

When we were there last September we cut through the World Showcase all the way back to the International Gateway to exit through to get to our Kouzinna breakfast reservation, and that was still during morning EMH so the World Showcase was definitely not open yet. I was ready to explain myself if need be, but I don't think we encountered a single cast member on the way. I think officially Mr Hub is right but i don't know how much that is regulated. Now if you were wandering around over by China or something you might get asked what you're doing...

As far as your uncle not having the dining plan it shouldn't be an issue. When we had the DDP there were a couple of times where we wanted to pay for one or two of the meals on an order out of pocket and put the other on our credits and we just told the cast member and it wasn't a problem. When you pre-order at BOG you still go through the ordering process, they just already have your meal inputted and ask you if there is any changes. At this time I would just let the CM know how you are wanting to pay and they should be able to figure it out for you, I would think.

Thanks allie that's a big help I had a giggle about "if you were found hanging around China they might ask what you are doing"

Also pleased you have been in a similar situation to us that is very helpful!

When we went to POFQ last year we had 4 rooms between 9 of us.
There were 8 adults and my baby niece.
We had spare key cards so we could get in and out of my sister's room when we were babysitting as they couldn't leave their magic bands as they would need them for fp+ etc.
I am not sure who asked for these at the front desk but it didn't seem to be a problem. So I am sure that if you say you are all in the same group and need a spare key to access each other's rooms they will arrange it.

When we went in November, I like to walk around WS before opening. You can go as far as Akershus starting on the Mexico side and as far as France starting on the Canada side. There is a rope up and a CM standing at each side but being able to see it empty and quite is one of my favorite times!

Thanks! I thought it would be a nice idea if we could get even so far round before it opens because when my aunty and uncle went with other family last year they said EPCOT was there favourite park but didn't get to explore it (they had 6 children to keep an eye on!) so really want to make an effort for them to see all the countries!
