Yea, I read a while ago that the Elizabeth, William plot line was done (Especially if you watched #3 after the credits)
4 and on will be a totally new story with Jack and an all new set of characters (Even though look for some of his crew to return)

Suits me just fine. The charm of the first movie was Captain Jack Sparrow's character. Number 2 and 3 were two "love story" and "special effects" driven for me.
