How busy does it get Labor Day Weekend? I found really good airfare for flying in on Friday night and leaving Monday plus room with the AP discount.
I've heard it is a good week to go with kids being back in school. Just curious how busy the holiday weekend gets. I haven't booked but came pretty close today. When I'm having a bad day at work, I plan a trip. Even if I don't book, it just makes me feel better. I know you all get it. 
I pretend plan trips all the time! Especially now since we're only going in January for the next couple years

The only time we went in September, we flew in either Labour day or the day after so I can't answer your question lol. But I think you should go anyway!

We've gone over Labour Day in 2013 and 2014 and found it quiet both times for a long weekend. Of course crowds are busier now so I'm guessing that weekend will have also picked up. There's only 1 way to find out, lol. 
We were there over Labor Day 2014 and didn't find the crowds bad at all, but like Jan said, that was 4 years ago and crowds are just higher all around. I will tell you that it was HOT so I struggled with it for that reason alone. But now I'm going down over 4th of July as a last minute trip, so we can really talk about hot after that trip

So did you decide to do it? We'll be there Labor Day weekend. It's one of our favorite times to sneak a few extra days because it's Benn's birthday. We're also taking my bestie and and meeting up with other friends as well. I would expect the crowds to start creeping up for that time of year. For us, schools are going back earlier in August now, so Labor Day is now a viable time to pull kids out of school. With F&W now starting early, the adult crowd is likely to start taking advantage of the free day off from work. Early September was basically the last bastion of calm...they'll find a way to kill it.

Yes. Jen and I will be there. I'm flying down Friday morning and Jen is driving down Friday night. I fly back Tuesday night. Jen is leaving sometime on Tuesday to drive home. We should plan some time to meet up.
