Larger Room or More Amenities?

I have to make a choice for our vacation next year and I'd love to find out what your opinion would be for choosing a larger room or one with more amenities? We won't be doing any park time on this trip, so the hotel rooms we choose are fairly important. I think I know the choice that I'm going to make, but I wanted to get some input from you as well!

Our choice is 2 Club Level Studios - Pros to me include food in the lounge could save me $ on breakfast. Also I'm a sucker for everyday Mousekeeping. Con - we'll have to split up the family. "12 points" more expensive.

-or-

1 - 2 Bedroom Villa - Pros seem to be keeping the family together and have more floor space overall. Less expensive point wise. Con - No Mousekeeping as it's just a 3 night trip. Also we'd need the Deluxe DDP to cover all of our meals.

It's a villa, right? With a kitchen of some kind? So why do you need DDP to cover all your meals?

If it were me and I valued time with my family on vacation, I'd go for the 2 bedroom villa. mickey

I agree with JeffC, go with the 2 bedroom villa. Then everyone will get to stay together. What resort are you staying at?

I would go with the 2 bedroom villa also. Spending time with family is what vacation is about to us. If you wanted you could do cereal and simple things like that for breakfast and save money on food. Of course we do the Deluxe DP every time we go because I cook at home and don't want to do anything like that on vacation.

Of course, the flip side is that if you value a little "away time" or privacy, go with the 2 Studios! Which is what I personally would do, because I would need need...space. laugh

Because if I have to cook, it's not vacation... laugh

We'll be at Animal Kingdom Lodge either way.

I love the 2 bedroom Villas, and it's fantastic to have the whole family together. We love being able to spread out. We wouldn't have housekeeping though and my kids are like mini tornadoes. I think that adding on housekeeping to a 2 bedroom Villa is about $60 a night.
