Last Day Suggestions

We're staying at Beach Club Villas next month for the first time (we are usually at Bay Lake Tower) - so I know this trip will revolve around Epcot a bit more than the Magic Kingdom, simply because of the resort location. I'd love some ideas for the last day. It's just my husband and me this trip.

We normally have early flights out which means having to get the Magical Express early to mid morning. This trip, our flight doesn't leave until 6:45pm so I am guessing we won't have to get the ME until 3-3:30pm? So, on the last day, Not sure if we should make ressies for breakfast (like at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom or maybe at 'Ohana's just to get our fix of the Polynesian) OR sleep in and then head to Downtown Disney for lunch. OR??? Any suggestions?

How about breakfast at the Poly, then relax for a while, then to DTD for lunch at EoS and finally take a ride on the Characters in Flight helium balloon to see it all from a different perspective, by then it should be time to head back to grab the Magical Express bus.

Hmmm, good idea - I like how you think! The Poly was always where we stayed before becoming DVC members and I miss it so much! I was thinking one last trip to the MK but it might be too chaotic/rushed on the last day. Thank you awesome

When we stayed at Beach Club a few years ago, on our last day we took a walk over to Epcot for one last ride on Soarin', then took another lap around the Boardwalk, and then headed to DTD for World of Disney and EoS for lunch, then left.

I would not hesitate to go to MK though on the last day. Hit it at Rope Drop and you can get in a great number of rides or attractions, or just a final stroll around the place, and still have time to head over to DTD and EoS before you head out.

I love the idea of breakfast at the Poly, too. I think I need 2 last days so I can fit in everything I would want to do on my last day.

The main thing we do when we have a late flight: Sleep In! We're usually pretty exhausted by the end of the trip!

For our last day, we have breakfast planned at Cape May and then we will probably head to DTD to do a little last minute shopping.

I always vote for sleeping in and then having a fantastic Character meal (Cape May is awesome) before heading to DTD. Taking that laid back last day just makes it easier for me to deal with the transition of heading back to the "real world".

Here are some more great ideas!

We always do Downtown Disney on the last day....grabbing some lunch and doing a little last minute shopping. Its a nice mild pace.

We drive so our last we revisit which ever park we decide on or go to a water park. Have dinner around 8 or so and then cry as we are jumping in the van and leaving Disney. laugh This year we are leaving and driving to Lakeland for the night before heading home.

Cant go wrong with that. DTD is always a great filler. So much to do there.

We always get the packing done the night before, book a breakfast at Boma in AKL, then either wander about the hotel or head to DTD. We did hit AK for a few hours one year because at AKL, you're just 5 mins away!
