Are you doing lunch or dinner?

Dinner at 8:15- the only day and time I could get for the whole trip. Insane.

It's actually usually easier to get lunch than dinner I think so you got kind of lucky, I guess. I think everything I like is available at both times.
Love love Le Cellier! Yep Dinner was FANTASTIC but I got 3 words for ya "Maple Creme Brulee!" Yumm-o!
I know this is kind of an older question..but..I have to agree...I think LeCellier is a bit overrated. We went there once..I enjoyed it. I thought our waiter was nice, the food was good, the soup was amazing, and the atmosphere was so nice but I really didn't think it lived up to all the hype. On the other hand, what could? That place has become so coveted it's a bit insane.
There are also other places I enjoy more.

I somewhat agree with this sentiment, but I do have to say I love the mushroom risotto. Still I don't think it's worth the amazing pains some people go to to get in there. I'd agree that it's an A-plus meal that people treat like it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And then of course it becomes one because it's so hard to get in!

Maybe that's why I don't get it..mushrooms make me want to hurl
But..I do love risotto!

I don't like mushrooms, but I love that mushroom risotto (I think I spelled that correctly)
Mushrooms make me want to heave too.
Likewise hate mushrooms, don't forget that a mushroom is a fungus. Never could get over that part ;>)
Ha! There's some serious animosity toward mushrooms around here! I agree -- never have liked mushrooms myself -- but the mushroom risotto at Le Cellier is pretty fantastic. You just avoid the *actual* mushrooms -- of which there aren't many IN the risotto.
Also, I've heard the mushroom soup at Artist Point is GREAT...and not mushroomy at all. Would love to try it to see.

Hmmm...the mushroom risotto is the one that's served with the filet right? I'm not making any promises, but I'm a fan of the filet and I might give this a shot.
I hate mushrooms but I've been told to order the mushroom fielt with cream cheese potatoes instead of the risotto (I don't like that either haha) and that the meal is excellent this way also.
Have never been yet, but scored at 7:45pm reservation on Dec 11th, our last night there next trip. Looking forward to it, but not considering it the Holy Grail of WDW dining! I went many years ago (I think it was on my honeymoon with my first husband in 1992), and it was definitely NOT the same . It was the kind of restaurant where you take your tray and push it down the line and they put your choices on it then you pay at the end and find a table. But, he was Canadian (actually still is!) and wanted to try it. So, I'm really glad they made changes .

Why do places insist on adding mushrooms to things? They are absolutely disgusting!!!
Boy there is an overwhelming love of mushrooms in here! You've got me all confused now, Jess. Have to figure out if i should order the filet as is, or get it without the fungi.

We may need to rename this place "WDW for Mushroom-Haters". I'm not much of a fan of mushrooms either, although I wouldn't say I hate them. That being said I do like some dishes that have mushrooms in them, like the risotto at Le Cellier. If you're not a strident anti-mushroom activist give it a try. They have some other tasty sides they can substitute for you if you aren't feeling in a mushroomy place.
Mushrooms and Garlic
Vastly over used and over rated imo.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.

I agree..WDWFMH is a great name!
My DH says mushrooms taste like Bleu Cheese..I love blue cheese..therefore I refuse to believe him.
I guess I can see how they're related...mold, fungus...I can see that. To me though mushrooms just taste like *bleeecht*.
Do we have a single mushroom lover on this board?!?

My MIL loves to put mushrooms in EVERYTHING so back when I was dating DH I told her I was allergic to them so she'd stop making them every time I came over for dinner. In fact DH and I were married over two years (together five) before he figured out that I just really hated them not that I was allergic to them. Luckily he was aware that his mother cooks them way too much and wasn't mad at me.

That's good, you can be our token mushroom-lover!

Bella -- That's hilarious!! If you'd just told her that you don't like them, would she have continued making them? Too funny! Glad The Dave wasn't mad
PsychoAlice -- You can have all of my mushrooms!! You can't have my mushroom risotto, but you can have the mushrooms IN my mushroom risotto!!
