Lion King Dining Package featuring Tiffins

If you are interested, WDW has started offering a dining package featuring the Festival of the Lion King show at AK.

The Tier I package includes lunch or dinner at Tiffins, priority VIP seating at Lion King and a special guided safari tour, and is $99 per adult and $49 per children ages 3-9, plus tax and gratuities

The Tier II package, which includes lunch or dinner at Tiffins and priority reserved seating at Lion King, is $74 per adult and $29 for children ages 3-9, plus tax and gratuities.

I believe you also get a commemorative cast photo.

You can book now for packages starting August 13 through November 21, 2018.

Hrmmm... does one really need a special seating for Lion King?
I mean, I haven't seen it since it has moved into the new theater.

No you can actually see really good from anywhere in the theater.

I thought it seemed like an odd combo but who knows....

I thought the same thing. Even a FastPass isn't really necessary.

To me it almost seems like they needed to do something to get people to book it. We have not eaten there mostly because the menu does not really appeal to me at all.

I'm a pretty picky eater, but I loved Tiffins when I went. I feel like they are really having to push the lunch service though.

I've been wanting to try Tiffins, I need to get there soon. But I doubt I would do this package...

Absolutely. We just went there on our Adults Trip in July for the first time. We LOVED it and ranked it just below California Grill on our list of favorite signature dining. However we were there at noon on a fairly busy park day and were one of three tables of people in the room we were seated in. I was shocked at how dead it was.
