happy update, I hope:

I just got off the phone with Disney Guest Claims. Although they still haven't requested my medical records YET sad , my rep did say that I would most likely crossfingers be reimbursed my out of pocket expenses (which are mounting). I can submit my lost days of work too and I might get something there as well.

Maybe a little light around the corner. Smile

Glad to hear this Doc! Hope some pixie dust does come your way.

Jhugo, I don't think for a minute the point is that Disney did not care, but they have policies & procedures they have to follow. Doc will actually be lucky to get any compensation because she didn't wait around for Cast Member when she got injured in the first place, so they are going by her word alone on what happened and then the fact that she made contact with CM's at the medical unit. Then filed an accident report at the resort. First rule of thumb if you get injured at WDW, don't move until someone comes to you.

Hopefully they went back and possibly found some video, but not ever square inch of Disney World is covered by cameras.

Agreed! It sounds like I may get some help with some out of pocket medical bills, which if so will be welcomed! Indeed Mr. Hub is correct - I needed to have waited. No more trying to be tough! biggrin

On a. Happy note, I have begun physical therapy and slightly moving the wrist. It is healing well too according to my doc yesterday. Progress! But still sore, and in a removable cast.

Should be Disney ready by Fall. That is the goal here! mickey

Thank you guys - I miss Disney! I am actually trying to figure out an end of June trip if my wrist keeps improving on schedule. It will not be 100 percent, but I have learned to compensate pretty well in the meantime. Smile

Yes it is! And to give some motivation I booked a 7 night trip to WDW in 40 days! My PT said I would need to wear a brace, do my exercises, and not lift a lot. Done!

I can stretch and flex while on HM, Pirates, TTA, Small World.....b mickey
