Good question! I'm wondering myself. Here is some of the wording on the email I got:
We invite you and your family to play along during our DVC show, Vacation As You Wish, at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA. Mix and Mingle with other Members, and share your favorite vacation wishes using state of the art technology.
You can also get an inside look at the newest resorts you can call home. Plus take advantage of special offers created just for this event.
Enjoy exciting giveaways and surprises

Play along during the show

I think Treehouse Villas with the family sounds like a ton of fun. I'd love to hear how that turns out. As far as the pressure, that is probably how DVC keeps such a positive image around their brand. Like so many other Disney experiences they try to make sure no one has a bad experience around their sales pitch.
Since it's free, I'd certainly check it out. We always go to the DVC "selling meetings" on DCL because they usually give away a bunch of cool stuff.

We just did the "Vacation as You Wish" presentation at the Contemporary a couple weeks ago. It was SO fun! The presentation itself was geared towards current members, we used these huge interactive screens & there were several performers. There were 5 giveaways, good stuff too!
After the presentation there was a really nice dessert/dance party with several characters to meet & take photos with, a DJ & dancefloor, & refreshments.
Afterwards we went up in groups to tour BLT; 1 bedroom, Grand Villa, & rooftop lounge. Which was INCREDIBLE!
Not sure what this presentation is going to include on the traveling shows, but it was awesome at the Contemp.
