LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE....

As I'm approaching my mid-40's...I've been debating on making some changes in my life---starting with careers... and I'm curious about Medical Billing & Coding. Is there anyone out there who can give me some advice about this line of work???

I have a couple questions -
1 - as a single woman, is this a good field to get in to? (financially)
2 - can anyone suggest a good "online,at your own pace classes/program" where I can go for training?
3 - is this a job where I can work at home - to avoid the "office drama"?

Any advice " is appreciated.

Medical Billing & Coding is definitely an up and coming field. There are so many changes happening in health care and physician's offices definitely need help. I have a friend who is a certified coder. I'll ask her what program she took to get certified and get back to you.
