So I've seen the love bug swarms before but this is ridiculous. The locals agree this is some of the worst they've ever seen. Here are some pretty routine car fronts:

Exactly..April, May, September and October if it's still hottish..it looks worse than normal..but tons is pretty typical for the south this time of year.

We do not have them in NC...thank goodness! They were one of the "checks" in the "What I Hate About Living in Florida" column! That and that none of the roads in Orlando connect with each other....don't even get me started about the 500 yard span between Alafaya Trail and the Beachline that would have saved about 5 miles and 30 minutes of backtracking.......grrrrrrrrrrrr....

They really seem to like people too. So many people are carrying around hitchhiking ones on their back without knowing it. They also seem to be really interested in crawling on my legs at inconvenient times. This is by far the worst I've ever seen them.

I think more of a Southeast thing. We have them in SC..especially when the weather gets cooler during the day. They are worse the closer to the coast you get.
