This link has some really cool GIFs of the opening of Disneyland in the 60's. Some of them gave me goosebumps to see this is how it all started 
And yes that Pooh parade does look slightly terrifying 
I miss short fat winnie the pooh. the tall thin pooh bears that they have now are just not right to me.
I had a student who gave me an OLD Pooh doll (it was still wool) that had been loved a lot, but he is really skinny. I suppose it was easier to make? He looks cool in my pile of Disney characters though!
