Maleficent Float Catches Fire During Festival of Fantasy Parade
I don't have pictures of my own, but if you search #maleficent on instagram you can clearly see the float catching fire in the neck as it traveled through Liberty Square. Some images show cast members putting out the flames with fire extinguishers.
Reports are that the driver made it out on time, but that the float is a loss.
Disney has now confirmed that no cast members or guests were injured during the incident.
Wow, certainly glad no one was hurt.
Really happy to hear that no one was hurt. Hope that Maleficent makes a return to the parade lineup soon.
I'm happy that on one was hurt during this incident. I love that Aurora and Phillip are now together for that part of the parade for now. I hope that Maleficent can come back but we will see.
They shut off the fire in Disneyland Paris.
