I've been watching this for a while, but apparently, it's official: Disney's Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie in the title role, will start filming in June. Elle Fanning will reportedly co star as Aurora. What are your thoughts? Personally, I'm not a huge Angelina fan, but I think the role is well cast here.

I'm not a huge Angelina fan, but one of my best friends is a HUGE Maleficent fan, so shes about to explode from excitement!
I'm not an Angelina Jolie fan either but can see her for this role. I'll wait for the DVD on this one.
Yeah. I kind of can't stand her...but I think she'll be great and I'm sure I'll watch it.

I *am* really excited about this one! I honestly couldn't care less about Angelina but I love the Villains point of view reboot. I really hop that she does it justice. I'm sure that they're banking on her "star power" to bring in viewers to help avoid another John Carter disaster.
