Marceline to Main Street

There's a great video up on the Disney Insider today that shows Walt and Roy touring their boyhood home town, Marceline, MO. It talks about how the Main Street in Marceline inspired 'Main Street USA' at Disneyland. Call me crazy, but I don't see the similarities! I suppose that inspiration comes in many different forms and overall the video is a charming look back at the Disney Brothers' trip home.

Kristen. You are correct that inspiration comes in many different forms and as long as the inspiration resulted in the present configuration of Main St. USA, I and I think I speak for most of the people when I say Thank You Walt (and Roy). Also that was a fantastic video, Thanks for posting it.
