Mars loves Magic

Hi everyone! stars
My first Disney grown up WDW trip was in 1996, married my husband in 1999 and he fell in love with Disney too. ( Let's hear it for the men who love Disney! yay ) Disney didn't hurt themselves any when they upgraded us to club level for our honeymoon! We visit WDW usually one time per year - two years we sneaked two visits! We've done everything from the platinum plan to moderate resorts. We love the Club level at the Poly, but we usually stay moderate POFQ. We will be at Disney next year Feb 3-9 - resort to be decided.
Thank you fellow enablers!

welcome mars1990! Glad to see another Poly lover here clapping yay clapping yay . We are DVC members, but we stay at the Poly alot. Never stayed CL though, never thought it was worth the extra money for finger food, and we get the bounce back discount alot, so the money we save there, pays for the Deluxe meal plan. What are your thoughts there?

Hey, Mars. Welcome to the board. I knew it was only a matter of time before a life form from the red planet joined.

Or are you the Mars from the Nike commercials? Do you know, do you know, do you know?

Bill- I know, I know - it ain't easy to cover THIS Mars! wink wink
Mr Hub: I'm on the fence about club level these days. CL like the dining plan has seen a fair amount of changes ( mostly cut backs if you know what I mean) Also your dining style will make it more or less worth it. If your fine with a light breakfast, spend time at the resort- then it can be worth it. Cast members at club level no longer seem to be able to "help" as much. They used to be able to make just about anything happen - last minute dining changes for example.

Hi and welcome Mars! What resort are you hoping to stay at on your February trip? Are you wanting to stay at Poly or POFQ or try something new?

Hi Allie~ Our travel agent advised us against CRS siting all the crazy conventioneers! And there is usually a cheer/dance group thing going on while we are there, so I would HATE being around all the screaming high school girlies! So, it's either POFQ OR RS...... We have to have a king bed so the royal rooms don't call me too much. I still kinda have an itch to try something new. Been to Poly, Contemp ( hubby hates) & POFQ. We will discuss tonite.....

Yo, Mars. Why does your DH dislike the CR?

Is it the shoes?

Ha! He thought it was cold & stuffy - we stayed club level. The Poly CL is much more comfy and relaxed. When's your next trip?

We will be back at the Poly Nov 25, we are stay in CR on Nov 23 just to see what it's like. Although with the construction going on and our normal request being the Tuvalu bldg, we don't know where they will put us for a MK view.

Mrhub: are you staying in a the tower room at CR? They are much preferable to the garden wings. Long walk to bus & monorail. Love to hear your report.

Welcome, Mars!

So happy to hear you turned your husband into an addict like the rest of us!

Is your avatar a picture of you at MNSSHP? That's the only time all the Drawfs come out together, right?

Looking forward to hearing more about your upcoming February trip!
