Just picking 3 pictures of Disney is *so* hard for me! Okay, I'm not sure that these are my absolute favorites, but these are three that I really really like. So many of the things that I take pictures of are a bit obscure, however these are all Castle pics, so there's no doubt of where they are of. My kids are my life, but I have very very few pictures of us all together at Disney. I would love to do a Disney Photo Shoot some day.

Oh shoot, that should have been "Fannie May Trinidads." Anyhow... a Trinidad is a bon bon with a rich, creamy real dark chocolate center, covered in a golden white chocolate & toasted coconut shell. Very yummy!

Here's a picture of the Hidden Mickey Tattoo on my wrist!

That tattoo is such a great idea! So subtle, I love it! Also loving the 'obscure' Disney photos, mine have definatly started to come under that category lol!

So you want to vist my little ol' England eh? Anywhere specific?

I really want to go to Glastonbury, to climb the Tor (doubt I could actually make it, probably just stay at the bottom) and visit the Chalice Well.

I'd like to visit some little historical villages, visit the V&A. I'd like to go to Harrods in London, and probably all the royal touristy things. Palaces, jewels, tower etc etc.

Eating at one of Gordon Ramsay's places would be a dream come true as well!

Nice tattoo. I like the other pics also. Just retired my VHS copy of Holiday Inn, and upgraded to DVD, have always been a fan of Crosby, and Astaire. Thanks for sharing.
Of course now I'm gonna have to see what The Red Tent is about, to see if it's something I'd read..lol

Hrmmm... that's hard. I would really move to be able to hang out more with Melissa W, and I'd totally love to go to WDW again with Becks (who's here but never posts often enough!) but I should probably pick someone that I haven't met yet.

So, I'm going to say that I would like to go to Disney with JeffC because he seems fun and funny, and eats really well!

More luxury/shorter vacation.
I love to stay at the Deluxe Resorts, and would rather stay at them for fewer days, than to have a longer vacation at a Value. When I go on vacation, I want to be pampered. I want full services and amenities, breakfast as close as possible, bellmen, valets, elaborate pools, bars, a waitress at my table, and elegant surroundings. I do order room service, and kick back in the hot tubs. It actually does make a difference to me what the room looks like, how much space there is, and where it's located. If I can look out my window and see a monorail all the better!

Park Hopping.
I don't usually do it. It's not a big deal to me, it's something I only add when I have a lot of extra money to spend, and I often feel like it's a waste of cash. I think there's more than enough to in every park for an entire day. That when you have to spend the whole day in one park you see more details of that park because you're not just rushing from ride to ride, or budgeting your time to get across property for dinner or fireworks. There's something about just being where you are, and staying in the moment that I think makes for a more relaxed and enjoyable vacation. If part of my party (like my kids) were thinking about, talking about, or whining that they wanted to go to a different park all day, I may have to shoot them. Everyone talks about the freedom of going back and forth, and I can appreciate that on some level. However dollar for dollar, park hopping usually doesn't fit into my planning. I'd rather use that money for an extra day or nicer dinner.

Even though I was born in 1971, I was born into what was already a family of Disney Fans. I grew up Disney, when Disney was not pervading every aspect of society. Mickey is a Classic, he's who it's all about, what started the whole kit and kaboodle. I adore my Duffy, but Mickey is the Mouse.

I want to love Princess Aurora, she's beautiful and enchanting, but as a little girl growing up with brown hair, Snow was my Princess. Snow White may get the wool pulled over her eyes by the old Witch, but we all make mistakes. She could organize a household of 8 with ease and grace. Though she was raised a royal, she accepted her circumstances and just made the best life possible with what she had. Who wouldn't want to manage a small army of men going off to mine gems for them all day long?

Nice tattoo. My wife has a Disney tattoo and I'm almost finished my new one, Buzz Lightyear, but I've got a space for Mickey reserved.

Oh my gosh, that's a hard one! Honestly the last time that I went I had a salad an shared flat breads with the other girls with me. I really loved the flat breads. I think it may have been the best meal that I've had there. Now, it could have been because I had incredible company in my two very best friends in the entire world. Those flat breads were amazing! There was a very hip, modern braised pork flatbread that had been flavored with cumin and cliantro. It was a fun, jazzy dish full of exciting flavors. Then there was this elegant chicken and fig, with caramelized onions that was a beautiful delicate symphony. So delicious!

Mutts Smile Both of them belong to our room mate.

Gemini is a Husky, German Shepard mix that sheds like there is no tomorrow. I'm always covered in dog hair. I love her tons, but man the shedding drives me insane. She's an old lady, a rescue, so we don't know how old for sure, but we think she's about 12 or 13.

Oni is a Chinese Crested and Pomeranian mix. She's a complete spaz. She used to chew on electrical cords as a puppy and joke that she got zapped one to many times. I think she's 4, she barks at everything and is as dumb as a stone, but provides hours of entertainment.

I'm not really a serious collector of any one thing. I have some pins, and some Vinylmations. I have 4 Duffy Bears, and some assorted eat hats. I also have a bunch of Disney purses.

I really want to collect those little shadow boxes that they sell that have 3D scenes of rides in them and they light up. I just haven't bought any yet. I'm not quite sure what's stopping me.

This was so much fun! I really want to steal your tattoo idea and I'm examining my arms right now, LOL! I have a ton of freckles on the top of my arms but not the underside.

I want to go to WDW with you too! Wink

The best thing about the tattoo is that it's so subtle you can have it visible in almost any environment, even places that they usually frown on tattoos. My favorite thing about it is that is FREAKS out nurses!! I can not tell you how many times I've been in a doctors office and a nurse is taking my pulse then suddenly becomes worried that I'm breaking out in some rare rash! LOL... I say "Yes, it's Mickey Mouseitis" When I'm out and someone notices it, I know that they're a true Disney fan!

My favorite Disney Park is Disneyland. I love how connected I feel there. Everything is a little smaller, a little more intimate. I feel like I'm a part of it all instead of being shuffled in mass through a pre-designated route I'm not allowed to stop along. I feel that way a lot in Florida. Character meet and greets are less structured, you can still find Minnie Mouse standing on the corner in Town Square. Fantasmic! is on the river around Tom Sawyer's Island like it was meant to be. New Orleans Square is classy and the Jazz is always swinging. The buffeteria style counter serve restaurants let you have some amazing meals for a really affordable price. It's just really wonderful to relax and hang out in the original.

I have so many answers to that!

Whatever I bought last! Right now it's a 17" Duffy dressed like Sorcerer Mickey with a light up hat.

My very favorite thing ever from Disney was a Mickey Mouse watch, that I lost. It was the most perfect watch on earth and I mourn it's loss 20 years later.

However, I think that when I think of my favorite Disney trinket, it's probably a glass paperweight that my Mom brought back for me. She really didn't know me very well, or understand me. It's probably the only thing I have that she gave me that showed even a brief understanding of my spark. It's etched with a quote and says:

"Happiness is a state of mind.
It's just according to the way you look at things"
