Might Be A Useful Item For A Disney Park Trip

So I often find myself having to wait either for the fireworks to start (by staking my position an hour before it starts), or I'm sitting down somewhere to wait for the parade. Often, we sat on the concrete pavement or on the curb. What we normally do is bring a beach towel so that we can sit on the towel. This provides a bit of a padding against the hard surface, and also allows us to stake our space.

Today, while on a shopping trip to IKEA, I found, and bought, something that I find to be a rather neat idea. This is really a seat pad. When folded, it looks like any ordinary folder.

As you can see, it is slim, and rather compact. The ruler is a standard 1 ft ruler (sorry for those of you using metric measurements) shown to give you an idea of the size scale.

But then, when you open it, it shows the padded inside:

I sat on it, and it is quite comfortable.

The whole thing weighs about 2 ounces, so it is slim and light!

I think that I can slip this easily in my backpack and carry it with me all the time. I can use it on the bus/trains, at picnics, at ballgames, etc., beyond just at Disney theme parks.

Best of all, each one of these costs.... get this... $1.99!

This might turn out to be one of the more useful things that I spent on.

Zz.

Does it have an Ikea name like RIKTIG OGLA? Looks like it would be comfortable to sit on and enjoy some meatballs and lingonberry jam.

I could enjoy my elk pasta and Swedish festive drink (the 2 staples of any ikea trip for me) while perched on one of those, looks like it could double as a folder , maybe to slot in a photo (eg the ones from CRT) ?

The name of the seat pad is Knalla, item number 19546.

And I mistyped the price. It is $2.99 each, rather than $1.99.

Our nearest Ikea (an hour and a half away - yuck ) is out of stock. No word on when, or if, they will restock. Boo!
