MNSSHP Booked!!

*I* decided we were going to MNSSHP. I booked the last night, Nov. 1st. We were gonna go on Halloween itself since we will be there but I think I would rather spend some time at epcot that night and maybe catch illuminations. Then spend the next night trick or treating at the magic kingdom!

I haven't been but I hear it's really fun. I'm attending MVMCP on 11/11 for the first time.

I am jealous! I have never been to WDW during the holidays. Heck I haven't been there in 15 years. I was hoping we would be able to catch the beginning of the decorations at the end of our trip. We'll miss them by a couple days.

That is a great choice *YOU* made, you will both love it. As far as the Holiday decorations (Christmas) you will start to see them while you are there especially in the lobbies of the GF and BW.

You are going to have fun, fun, fun!! It's a good choice to skip it on Halloween since it will probably be busier than the other days. It is SUCH a fun event. I am all nostalgic because we went to MNSSHP on our honeymoon.

We didn't make it to MNSSHP this trip, but we saw many families heading to the park to join in the fun. One family of 10 were all dressed in full costume, and they looked great! We did see the fireworks spooktacular from our balcony, and I've gotta say they were some of the best fireworks I've ever seen at the Disney parks. Enjoy!

Ok everyone! My trip is one week from today. Here's the plan so far.

Sunday 10/30 Arrive in WDW at 1030a.m. We have a towncar picking us up. I have already checked us in online for our Savannah view room at AKL. that day we are going to try and go to Animal Kingdom and get it out of the way. We have dinner reservations at Jiko - that will be our official first sit down/table service meal as a married couple. I hope it's as good as it seems! I think that night we may just check out a lounge at the AKL and head back to the room early. wink

Monday 10/31 We leave AKL for POR. (we couldn't afford AKL for the whole week) We want to try and get to MK for rope drop. We don't know if it will happen or not. However, we both decided that since that is our first full day at WDW we want to hit MK first. Maybe just to walk around and take it in. We are going to try and get on a couple of rides. I'm not sure if it will be crazy or not with it being Halloween. DHS has extra magic hours until midnight that night. So we are just going to make the most of those and go to DHS that night and see fantasmic.

Tuesday 11/1 ADR at chef mickeys for breakfast. then we are gonna go to Epcot for the day. Ed is excited for Rose and Crown and their extensive scotch list. I have a feeling we may be really giddy every time we are at Epcot. He loves scotch and i love craft beer and wine. FOOD AND WINE!!! woo hoo!! that night we have our tickets for MNSSHP. So anything we missed at MK the day before we'll do during that. Plus the fireworks and the parade!

Wednesday 11/2 choices choices! it will be our catch up day. I figured we can start the day a little later this day. maybe go to the boardwalk for breakfast. I also know Ed wants to get a massage and we both really want to parasail. so maybe that morning we can do that. Then I don't know which one but I want to see Wishes and Illuminations. We may do Illuminations since we will be at MNSSHP for their fireweorks

Thursday 11/3 Universal Studios/IOA/WWOHP!!! I know we won't be able to do it all in one day. We rented a convertible for the drive there. The park is only open until 7pm. The things I know we WANT to do. Since Ed has never been there he really wants to go on Jaws and Spiderman. I haven't been't there in 15 years so I have never seen IOA I want to do a couple roller coasters. But more than anything I'm a Harry Potter nut! I can't wait to see hogsmeade, and hogwarts and Diagon Alley. Ed doesn't get it, but he's gonna shut up and drink his butter beer!

Friday 11/4 another catch up day. We have nothing planned for the day. That night we have a final dinner planned at Shulas Steakhouse.

Saturday 11/5 we say good bye. However, our flight isn't until like 730pm. So we may hang out by the pool or go to DTD.

Am I missing something huge???? please let me know if my plans seem impossible. Like I said it's been 15 years since i've been there. So i don't remember the time it takes to get places and stuff like that.

I think it sounds like an amazing trip and you've got plenty of unscheduled time to fill in things that you're feeling like you missed!

I have a feeling we'll end up back at Epcot a lot for the F&W fest.

If you are a Harry Potter nut then you are going to love the Wizarding World. My hubby and I were just there this past Monday. I'm a huge fan of the books and the movies, and it was even better than I expected. You really feel like you have been transported into Harry's world. I can't wait to hear what you think about it. I loved it! It was a bit crowded for my taste, but it was amazing to see. Ps. Butterbeer is very sweet...very good, but very sweet! I couldn't finish mine.

Thanks! we are going for our honeymoon. So i'm hoping to get in both things I want to do and he wants to do. Last night we were looking at all the attractions at every park (both wdw and universal) and it was the first time he seemed EXTREMELY excited.
