I heard or read somewhere that they were going to build a "Monsters Inc." themed roller coaster in Hollywood Studios. Has anyone else heard anymore about this?

I have heard this rumor for awhile because of the similar ride at DCA. I for one would LOVE to see it come true--I am a big Monsters Inc. fan and anything that they add to the parks that is Monsters Inc related is cool with me!

Has anyone heard of any progress on the Monsters Inc roller coaster? When I was last there the area was blocked off and the sign said home of future Monster Inc roller coaster.

The rumors I heard is that it was going to go into the Sound Stage 1 where Oakens funland and trading post are currently located. No progress has been made.

There was no line at dca so I'm guessing it's not as popular there. But then again most things there on our trip only had a 30 min wait.

I haven't heard any rumours but I would love this to come to HS I need more reason to go to HS so I would welcome it!

I do think that Studios is next with getting an overhaul to bring more people into the park longer. I do believe that more Star Wars is coming to the park but nothing official has been announced.
