Most Under-Appreciated Restaurant?

What Disney restaurant do you think is unfairly overlooked or thought of badly? We tried Olivia's Cafe not too long ago and I thought it was not bad. Plus the DVC atmosphere was kind of fun. The CMs and the guests seemed like it was their "local place." Where do you think is under-appreciated?

I think the Contempo Cafe. It's actually very good and offers a different variety of foods. It's never been crowded.

Biergarten. It doesn't seem under-appreciated by the people on this board, but it also doesn't seem to be that big with other people.

I have to agree with Olivia's..I just loved the vibe there! It just felt much more casual than the other places.
Also, non-sit down I think it Columbia Harbor House. Last time we were in WDW it was late June and there were CM's outside basically begging people to come in and eat. We love that place..the tuna is much better than any hamburger at Pecos Bills!

I agree about the Columbia Harbor House it is a refreshing change from the other counter service. You can only eat so many burgers

LOVE CHH! It's always pretty crowded when I'm there. Such good fish and chips (better than Epcot, but now I'm just repeating myself) and the clam chowder is outta this world!

I agree about the Biergarten, it never seems all that full, but it's great food and free entertainment.

JeffC -- I've been hearing so much about Contempo lately. People really do love it there! I'll have to try it out.

Also, I think Marrkesh is underappreciated. I really like the food there, but people are pretty scared of it. I think it's funny (and helpful) that they have someone stationed at the front of the Morocco pavilion with a picture book of the dishes at Marrakesh!

Marrakesh also has the problem that it's way in the back of the pavilion. You have to know it's there. I think that's also part of why they have the girl with the book out there.

If you eat at Tangierine Cafe, or Marrakesh, be sure to get the baklava. It's divine!

I would love to give you suggestions but the only thing I've ever eaten there was the Chicken Schwarma platter. It's sliced chicken covered in some yummy sauce and it's served with hummus, bread and tabullahhaahdsfhds (or whatever it's actually called). Oh gosh..it is SO delicious!

And its the only place to get REAL sweet tea and not from a fountain.

Agreed! Marrakesh is my favourite restaurant. Love the vegetable couscous and the baklava. I also found it funny when the cast members were sitting out front with the book, but effective. I didn't even know the restaurant existed until they showed me the book.

Is that at Olivias or Columbia Harbor House?

Yum, baklava!! I like that they actually give you a relatively small portion compared to most Disney desserts. I have a hard time finishing the amount of ice cream and brownies and hot fudge and cake they usually give you at Disney restaurants, but this portion of baklava is perfect.

I think that the most underappreciated table service restaurant is Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase. The lamb meshoui consists of a leg of lamb cooked in its own juices and is delicious.

I also like Columbia Harbor House in the Liberty Square section of Magic Kingdom. I wonder if you can still get New England clam chowder in a bread bowl?

I think the bread bowls are gone. Can anyone confirm this?
