Mr. Tom Morrow!

I'm a bit mad about this because I'm not sure if it's relatively recent- some posts show May 2010- but they redid the voice at TTA and no more, "Paging Mr. Morrow. Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party had arrived from Saturn. Please give them a ring."

I don't know if it's permanent or definitely true or when it was announced but I am devestated! We've been saying this at my house for YEARS!

Supposedly new character sound bits were added and it just says "Mr. Tom Morrow please call Mr. Johnson."

Anyone else read this or been there and heard this?!

Jess -- I haven't been since the change, but I'm hoping it's not true as well. That's a classic part of the TTA script! Then again, I wish the whole thing would just stay the same. Who needs color-changing neon lights?!?

I have heard this rumor, but I know someone who went DURING the refurb and they said it was still there. This was at the point that TTA was back operational, but Space Mountain wasn't yet. So unless they've changed it since then.

I am afraid the rumor is true. We were just there a few weeks ago and we rode it twice. They have changed it just a little and that is one of the changes.

Yes it's absolutely true.

Cdub is correct too, in that when TTA was reopened they used the old soundtrack for a while, but this only lasted a couple of weeks. They then added the current voice track which does feature characters.

The one bright side is that at one point in the new soundtrack, the attraction is referred to as Wedway People Mover. I wonder if Imagineering did that just to throw a bone to us nostalgists whom they knew would be up in arms over the new voice over.

Maybe they're bringing back the joy and happiness that was the WEDway.

I think they changed it in the Fall sometime..I remember being very pregnant and watching this video:

And crying my eyeballs out because the original narration.

I appreciate the wedway reference....but I want Mr. Tom Morrow returned. Disney will be receiving an e-mail from me on this one! laugh ....seriously.

They have been so disappointing lately! Taking out my wonderful living seas for that lame Nemo Ride! Now this! I swear, they touch the country bear jamboree and I'm gonna show them exactly how us north jersey girls handle our problems! wink
