We had a major virus take over a bunch of the drives at my job. In one of my less intelligent moves, I had saved my trip spreadsheet on the desktop. In order to eradicate the virus, IT had to wipe all our computers. Now all my trip planning stuff is gone, along with all of my work from the past year. IT is working on getting most of my stuff back from the last backup, but as of yet that has not happened.
I am really trying to look at this in a positive way: now I get to enjoy building another spreadsheet. Thankfully, I posted a pre-trip report on here, so I can use that to rebuild.

I hope IT can recover it for you.
If not, like you said, it is fun to make the spreadsheets. Even with all of the info being available on MDE, there's nothing like the color-coded, set-up-just-the-way-you-like-it spreadsheet.
that is my worst nightmare! I've had it happen several times over the years, if it's a Disney/ holiday plan I try to make sure it's on a flash drive or I email myself a copy after major changes. I also kept my emails notifying me when things had been changed.
