Sounds like a great trip so far. . . despite scrappy's segway skills!

Day 2 - Monday
We started out by grabbing a quick bite at Captain Cooks before heading over to EPCOT to do our Segway Tour. Checked in at Guest Services and had 15 minutes to spare so we walked around alittle and got some pics with the empty park around Space Ship Earth.

Sorry, have pictures, but can't upload any. I'll post them when we get back.

Well Lamont was our instructor and a pretty awesome guy. He apparently started the segway program for Disney and is the only one that teaches the course. We watched the video, maybe 10 minutes, see showed us some do's and don'ts, and then we went out to the room with the segways and we did some training inside first. We all caught right on pretty quick, scrappy didn't land on her face (yet!), and off we went, ducks in a row!. No picture taking aloud while on the segway. Only while we were stopped. Janet was our guide during the tour and she took us all around the World Showcase. It was really great and I highly recommend it for anyone thinking about it, just one thing, it makes your feet and legs hurt! Ask Scrappy! Her feet went numb and she almost took out a light post once and a couple of tourist another time. We were going down hill and you have to keep slowing down by pushing back on you heels. Scrappy couldn't feel her's , gaah she took off like a segway in the Daytona 500! eek Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!. Lamont had to rescue her before she ended up in the lake! rolling

omistars! ROFL! I'm glad you had fun...but this TOTALLY confirms what I've always thought about Segways: I'd rather walk than stand Smile And I am such a clutz, I do NOT need wheels beneath my feet in any shape of fashion.

SO glad Scrappy was rescued!!

Continuing day 2 -
Well the Segway tour was great and we finished that up. We decided to just take it easy and not push ourselves this trip and just enjoy the surroundings. We headed over and did Figment, we have always like this, although the original was much better, and then started to walk to our ADR at the Captains Grill for lunch

We were very impressed with lunch and would definitely do this again. Scrappy had a salad and the Angus Cheese Burger & I had the Claw Chowder and the Captains Burger (Angus beef with Lump Crab meat) . Both were very good!

After lunch we just walked around and went back to the Poly to relax. We went back to Rose & Crown for dinner. Scrappy had an apple salad of some sort & the Fish & Chips. I had mussels & thier version of surf & turf which is fish & steak. Both were very tasty.

After dinner it was back to our room for the night, we where beat!

Day 3

Tuesday we were off to the Kona Cafe for breakfast. Always one of my favorites. Scrappy tried the french which she had never had before and I had the Samoan ( my fav). We hung out in the MK most of the day, did POC, HM, Big TM & Splash Mt.

We headed over to the Noodle Station to have lunch, only to find out it is no longer the Noodle Station & they don't serve noodles! We just got burgers which were not even as good as Cosmic Rays. No toppings bar or anything.

At this point the heavens opened up! It was fairly short, but it came down. Once the rain slowed, we got on Buzz & Stitch, both had very short lines. Sorry, not the best picture, but you get the point.

Headed over to AKL for dinner then at Jiko. Phenomenal meal!
I had a Grilled Wild Boar Tenderloin appetizer

Scrappy had the Jiko Salad

I had the Braised Beef Short Ribs & Scrappy had the Oak-grilled Filet Mignon with Hominy Risotto!

I forget what the desserts were called, but they were great!

Quick intermission on the trip report. Another great big thanks to Jeff! The spread sheet wasbthe best thing ever. It was so easy to check our ADRs for the day as well as park hours. One quick glance and I had everything thing I needed to know for the day. I do not think we will ever go without one again.
We are on our way home now. Mark will get back to the report soon.

Well what do we need to get you?

It all starts with the basics! The dates, where you are staying, and any specific plans you know of. And ADRs if you have them. mickey

Day 4 - Wednesday

Started out with breakfast at the Cape May Cafe:

After breakfast we headed into Epcot. Never did get on Sorin, even though the crowds seemed low, the wait was always extremely long. Did the Living with the Land ride. Poured while we were in there, great timing. Had not done this ride for years an it was very interesting.

Headed over and got on Nemo ride and then went to try "Beverly". I don't think it was that bad, just tasted like really bad seltzer water, scrappy had a different opinion:
