Narcoossee's/Citrocos/California Grill - THE WINNER IS..........................

Which would you choose and why?

I'm trying to plan my last ADR for our upcoming trip and want it to be at a signature restaurant.. I've winnowed it down to these three.. awesome

I have not eaten at Narcoossee's or Citrocos, but have heard good things about both.. awesome

I have eaten at California Grill, and although the food and drink was good, I was NOT Wowed!! waiting

I'm a big meat eater, especially beef steak and love good seafood (What person from South Louisiana Doesn't! awesome ), so my selection of these three were somewhat based on that (current menus)..

So, help me decide what final ADR to make!!! awesome stars

Thanks!!! bighug

NARCOOSSEE!!! awesome yeah

Mike, we have eaten at all 3. I will tell you right off the bat, would we go back to all three? Yes in a minute, but if you were not wowed by the Cali Grill, than you will probably not be happy , or at least "wowed" by Narccoosses and especially not Citricos.

The food at Narccoosses is very good, in some aspects maybe better than the Cali Grill, but the atmosphere and service is not quite as good in our opinion, but it is a awesome restaurant.

Citricos, is considered a signature and the food is very good. You will see a lot more people in park clothes and not dressed up than either of the other two restaurants. We have eaten there twice and both times had fabulous meals and good service, but if you are on the meal plan, compare it to The Turf Club at Saratoga Springs which is 1 dinning credit and Citricos which is 2 credits, I would go to The Turf Club. But our go to restaurant that we have to do at least once every trip is The Cali Grill.

Just our option so take it for what it's worth. Everyone has there own opinion and tastes. We have had some unforgettable meals at Fulton's and we have had some that I was very disappointed with, but would I go back, yes, because sometimes people and places have a bad day. We are all human!

Good luck with your choices and meals.

Truthfully, you may enjoy the Yatchsman Steakhouse better than either of the other three. They are known for their steaks and I have had some excellent seafood apps there. I had a lobster trio for and app once that was ridiculously good.

I agree with MrHub. We've eaten at the Cali Grill and Narcoossee's and have had great meals at both, but if I had to choose just one of them, it would be the Cali Grill. We eat there every trip too and I've just booked brunch there for our stay in September. We've had a great experience every time we've gone and the food is amazing! Narcoossee's had great food, but we felt a little rushed when we ate there.

I've only been to Cali Grill and it was wonderful for us also. I agree with Yachtsman too. EVERYTHING we had there was superb!

I was not wowed by Cali Grill either. The food was good but I think it's more so about the service, comfort and view. I've been to Narcoossee's too and I really enjoy their food and love that it's out on the water. Both places are great and I would go back to both but I am dying to try Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. I've heard great things about it and it is a Signature Dining experience. I watched a Youtube video of a family having a meal there and it looks incredible.

I've never been to Citricos or Yachtman's but I'd like to try those places too! But Artist Point is next on the list for me when I go back.

I am with Mr Hub. Cali Grill is our favorite for food, service, atmosphere, view, wine. Since you are from Louisiana, home of the best food anywhere, you might find Narcoosees a bit lack luster compared to back home. Yatchman's is the strongest choice for what you are looking for.

I absolutely love California Grill. I was completely underwhelmed by Citricos and did not think that the overall experience was worth 2 dining credits per person. I haven't been to Narcoossee's myself so I can't really speak to that one.

We have eaten at Narcoossee's and Cali Grill a few times each and if I only had to pick one it would be Narcoossee's. Love the food, service (Michael), and atmosphere. We always leave happy from our meal. Also the grounds are beautiful to walk around and after you can walk to the Poly for a lapu lapu!

Thanks all for your reviews.. awesome mickey

I chewed on them for a few days rolling and have finally made my decision... yeah

I narrowed it down to these two, with a close 1 & 2 between California Grill and Narcossee...

The Tie-breaker was the fact that I haven't eaten here before, so the winner has to be NARCOOSSEE stars

I plan on surprising the family with this signature dinner, now only to come up with a good story as to why we're going to the Grand Floridian.. awesome

So my husband wanted to add that the almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoossee's is the best dessert ever! I would second that but he will not share it and I am scared to try to steal a bite of it! laugh I am not kidding he will not share and also talks about it months after we get home.

I am happy to go to any of the three, all have great meals, IMHO. But I think Narcoossee wins for food quality.
