Cool! I really like the colors and the pac man tribute. Thanks for the FYI. We might do Pop for a portion of this year's trip.

Hopefully everyone agrees Pop Century is the best value resort. I've never met anyone who preferred the All-Stars resorts. Has anyone else?
We have stayed at both numerous times. Outside of the food court and the lake at Pop's there isn't much difference. We prefer the Pop Century because it is much newer and seems to have a different attitude.
All Star has done some renovating on their rooms. We stayed there in December only because the Fl. resident rooms were full at Pop's.

The newer is definitely nice, but I think you nailed it that the attitude seems better there. Seems like they're trying harder or something.
We stayed at Pop 2 years ago and loved it.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
I have never stayed at Pop, but we stayed at All-Star music right after the redo and it wasn't bad at all. Next time we have to do a value I would like to stay at Pop to see it...but that is a BIG step down from MK view Contemporary!

Jeez, this is probably quite true! We stayed at All Star Movies and liked it just fine; I've visited pop, but would love to stay there sometime.

They're renovating the rooms, right? Any favorite choices for room location?

we were in the 90's section, probably 20 feet from laundry and 20 feet from the pool just beside the laptop on the first floor, was a nice little walk to the food court but it was awesome for laundry and swimming.

I think we have stayed at Pop Century about 10 times since they opened. We have been to every other resort in the World including camping over 39 times in Ft. Wilderness.
We truly love Pop. Knowing we can hang out at any resort we choose for the day it's great to get back to Pop Century. If money was a none issue we would still choose Pop Century.
Joe
So glad you're headed there in just 4 days, Joe.

We stayed in 90's too. It seems to be the quietest part of the resort.
Yep, 90s for us too, this past spring! We stayed on the backside of the building facing away from the pool overlooking what I called the "housekeeping courtyard." We requested a king, they gave it to us, and this is where they stuck us.
Other than the walk to Everything Pop and the bus stops, it was great. If I were going to stay at Pop again, I would want a car. We flew down because Southwest had one-way tickets for $39 -- couldn't pass it up. Normally we drive, which we're doing next month.
