New Restaurant ..

Saw this on another site and thought i would share/see if anyone here has any more on this .

Disney has filed a construction permit for a 22,000 sq ft restaurant attraction on the land that was cleared originally for Hyperion Wharf on the waterside between Raglan Road and Paradiso 37.

The permit lists the restaurant as 'The Boat House Orlando,' and is signed by Steven Schussler.

Schussler has a long history of working with Disney, creating 'T-Rex' and 'Rainforest Cafe' at Downtown Disney, and 'Yak and Yeti' at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The new construction would position the restaurant in The Landing district of Disney Springs, which is expected to be opening at the end of 2014.

Oooh, I wonder if it will be open when we are there in November? Will have to track down updates as end of 2014 seems quick unless there isn't much construction to do.

It's taken them longer than that to convert an existing shop in the Disney Village at Disneyland Paris into the new Lego Store.

Landry's Inc., the company that operates Yak & Yeti, T-Rex and Rainforest, operates 7 seafood/steak restaurants in the Vancouver area under the name 'The Boathouse'. All are located near the water.

Not sure if this one is the same, but it kind of makes sense.
