I refuse to participate in anything that has kids only places. It's why I stopped eating at McDonalds when they have play areas. They won't let me go in there!

Where do they get enough freshwater for all this stuff? Do cruise ships have desalination plants or something? Where's Mousetraveler when you need him.

The cruise ship we went on had saltwater in the pool and water slides - I'm betting that's what this is...

Really? Was that weird? I'm not sure I'd like that.

It wasn't too weird. It was VERY easy to float! The water slide was weird because I wasn't expecting it. The hot tubs were regular water and I bet this would be too, the salt would make it too messy.

We were at a hotel once with a saltwater pool, and I just couldn't bring myself to go in there. Just seemed too weird to be in a pool that looked like a pool, but had salt water! Also, I can sometimes get out of a regular pool and not need to shower immediately -- salt water, not so much!

It's one thing when you're expecting it, but completely another when you're taken by surprise. eek
