Hey all! My name is Megan, and I am super excited to finally be posting. I've actually been reading the forum since last July, when I stumbled across it by accident. But what a happy accident it was! I've decided that today was the day to stop being a lurker, and start being a poster! So, here are a few more things about me, in a nutshell:
- My username doesn't reflect my real one, at all! I have three favorite Disney characters, all who have the same initials (as you'll be able to discover by scrolling down to my signature.) Can you guess all three before scrolling down?
- I have never been to WDW. I know, I know, but before you kick me out of the forums, I am currently saving up for a trip. My fiance also is about to get a settlement from an accident, and I think that a delayed honeymoon sometime in late October might be in the works for us. It all depends on how quickly things move along. (So, probably not, but we can dream!)
- I've been to DL once. I went for the first time at the end of August in 2010. It was the best vacation I have ever been on. I was lucky enough to go with a friend who grew up in SoCal, so he showed me all the tips and tricks. However, we no longer talk. So it's hard to look through the pictures and see him in them. Plus, The Haunted Mansion was closed for renovations (NMBC decorations were going up) and so was the Star Wars ride, so that put a damper on the trip, since those were a few of the things I was looking forward to the most!
- While I love all Disney movies, Pixar seems to be winning me over lately. Nemo, Wall-E, Monsters, Ratatouille, Brave, Up, and of course, Toy Story. I used to watch Wall-E every night before bed, after I came home from my first trip because it reminded me of the best day of my life.
- My favorite princess is Belle, since she has brown hair (like me), we both love books, and her dress was yellow, one of my favorite colors.
I think that's all for now. I'll try and keep up with you all, and live through your trip reports. I'm also working on getting a few pictures up for "artistic photos" thread. So happy to be here, and so nice to meet you all!
Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it.
